- Previous experience in Motel or Caravan Park Management is essential.
- Experience working with corporate clients and leisure travel agents.
- Strong experience across both accommodation and food and beverage operations
- Proven front office and reception skills
- Experience with GuestPoint and SiteMinder
- Experience with OpenTable, Kounta and TANDA is highly regarded
- Strong leadership skills and a hands-on management style
- Ability to recruit, train, lead and motivate a team
- Strong understanding of budgeting, wages, expenses and operational performance.
- Sales, marketing and social media ability
- Excellent guest service and communication skills
- Current National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one
- Willingness to relocate and live onsite
Job Description –
- Take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a busy regional motel
- Manage Front Office, Reception, Breakfast and Dinner Service, Housekeeping, Grounds and Maintenance
- Lead by example and maintain a hands-on presence throughout the property
- Recruit, train and support staff
- Maintain high standards of guest service and presentation
- Manage operational performance against budgets and financial targets
- Monitor wages, expenses and revenue
- Identify sales and marketing opportunities to increase occupancy and food and beverage revenue
- Manage guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Ensure compliance with WH&S, liquor licensing, food safety and fire safety requirements
